PREPARATION
For best results, we suggest priming the surface with a pigmented Polyester Basecoat, as they are less prone to lifting than Polyurethane Primers. Once fully cured denib the surface using 240-320 grit stearate abrasives. They provide a higher efficiency than conventional abrasives. Ensure the surface is completely clean of dust and debris before coating.
APPLICATION
With good drying conditions and air circulation (20°C), achieve a good build with one coats of 80-200 g/m². Under these circumstances, the substrate can be dry to the touch in 6 hours. Lower temperatures and higher relative humidity can lead to longer drying times.
AFTER CARE
Due to the high chemical resistance of Polyurethane Topcoats, the packaging used does not usually cause problems. We recommend high-density polythene. PVC or Pluriball are not suitable.
ALTERNATIVE HARDENERS/THINNERS
Sayerlack TH0724/00 @ 100% for faster drying. It will result in reduced hiding power.
